The first 35 years of my career was spent in the electrical contracting industry. Over the years, I progressed from a clerk to an estimator, project manager and eventually the President/CEO of a major electrical contracting firm performing $135 million in revenue a year. During this time, we developed an in-house electrical estimating system called ACES. ACES has been in use for over 10 years. Approximately four years ago, Sheldon Livingston and I purchased ACES and its parent company ƒunctionWare from this contracting firm and brought it to the public. I now spend full time promoting and improving the product and our services. Being in the contracting business for so many years has created our company credo – “Provide professional electrical estimating software and services to the electrical contracting industry at affordable prices”.
Besides estimating software, we are getting ready to start rolling out our project management package over the next few months.
